Product update
Better visibility. Easier follow-through.
This release expands firm reporting, adds a dedicated survey experience for invited contacts, and gives teams more control over related matters, document history, and the updates that need attention.
Turn daily activity into a clearer firm view
- A new Case Assignments report brings together team assignments, demand conversion, timing, offers, and expected fees, with date and assigned-user filters.
- Daily Demands shows demand counts by team across daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly periods, alongside a monthly trend chart.
- The detailed Demands report now highlights expiration dates and calculates total demanded amounts more accurately.
- The Settlements report brings accepted amounts, outstanding issues, pending deposits, lien workload, and closed-matter results into focused views.
- The Attorneys report summarizes demands, accepted amounts, trust activity, expected fees, and matter timing by the selected firm role. Authorized users can pin a shared role selection in the Attorneys and Settlements reports.
- Report tables now use familiar sorting and table controls, with fixes for pagination, activity-hour totals, and numeric formatting. Approaching Statutes status choices focus on active pre-litigation and litigation work.
Make it easier for contacts to finish what you need
- Contacts can review outstanding, completed, and cancelled surveys, then start a new response or continue one already in progress.
- Survey answers save automatically as they are entered, with a save indicator beside each question and clear feedback when a response needs attention.
- Saved answers are available when recipients return, and completed surveys can be opened for review.
- Invitation links guide new and existing account holders through the appropriate setup or sign-in steps, with the invited email shown during setup.
- Password confirmation, mismatch feedback, and password recovery make account access easier to complete.
- Survey layouts and date and time inputs have been refined for clearer use on smaller screens.
Keep document changes easy to follow
- For files with version history enabled, select earlier versions to preview or download them, and review who saved each version and when.
- Authorized users can restore an earlier version as the new current version while preserving the intervening history.
- Word and PDF editors support saving a new version of the same eligible file or saving a separate copy, with protection against overwriting changes made while the document was open.
- Templates now use a layout consistent with Matter Files, with search, selection, and document preview kept close together.
- Document generation includes more complete contact information and more reliable linked-record values, reducing missing details during variable mapping.
- Repeated signing dates and matching named custom fields stay synchronized for the same signer, while signer text retains its selected font and size.
- File uploads provide clearer feedback, and saving an attachment from a text message now prompts for its destination in the matter file repository.
Keep shared information and new activity in view
- Add insurance, vehicles, and incident reports to selected related matters or all related matters from the record's menu.
- When adding client insurance or vehicles to another matter, choose the appropriate relationship for the destination client. Linked clients can also appear as Other Parties in related matters.
- Shared-record controls show the matters connected to an item and let authorized users choose which matter links to remove.
- Notification badges now reflect complete unread totals for standard and communication activity, while inbox history stays steadier when many updates arrive together.
- Matter and contact searches refresh more consistently after edits, contact selections retain complete details, and empty contact-search results offer a direct way to clear filters.
- Text-message attachments load and download more reliably, and invalid recipient numbers produce clearer feedback.
- Status changes apply the configured default attorney fee without an extra fee-confirmation step. Additional fixes improve address-state selection, medical-provider creation, Other cost categories, unpaid-lien amounts, and date-picker focus.
