This release keeps conversations and notifications current, brings useful actions closer to your work, and adds safeguards across matters, task plans, and documents.
Stay current without the refresh
- SMS conversations update as new messages arrive, so active threads stay current without manual refreshing.
- The notification inbox opens with Unread selected, making new activity easier to identify first.
- Select multiple notifications and mark them read together, while clearer titles and descriptions provide better context.
- Task notifications are directed to the people connected to the task, helping updates reach the right team members.
- AI file suggestions also refresh as work completes, keeping the matter view aligned with the latest results.
Do more from the list you are already in
- Right-click shortcuts are now available across contacts, leads, mass torts, dashboard matters, firm files, and many settings lists.
- Depending on the record, you can open, edit, copy, assign, communicate, download, delete, or create a related item without leaving the list.
- My Matters has clearer columns, steadier pagination, improved sorting, full-description previews, and a searchable Incident State filter.
- Task and lead lists now handle sorting, filtering, and larger result sets more consistently.
- Duplicate-contact checks better distinguish exact matches from similar names, reducing unnecessary warnings while preserving useful review prompts.
Set up work with better context
- Task plan steps can be assigned to a specific user, giving firms more control over who owns generated work.
- Commercial insurance now includes Property Damage Adjuster and Bodily Injury Adjuster contact types.
- A new LawWorks Charges section lets authorized users review recorded charges at both the firm and matter level.
- Changing a statute of limitations date now clears its confirmation so the updated deadline can be reviewed again.
- Medical record and bill titles are required only when the status is Received, with clearer record names throughout the treatment view.
A shorter path from document to done
- The Map Variables step appears only when generating from a saved template, keeping other document workflows focused.
- Firm-user selections now carry into generated documents more reliably.
- Firm files support faster previewing, downloading, renaming, document editing, folder creation, and bulk actions from the file list.
- Signature request setup now follows the selected document source more consistently.
